Why read the Quran?

The Quran is a timeless guide for life, death and the hereafter.

Guidance for mankind

While other scriptures were sent to God’s messengers (Prophets) for their specific populations during that particular time period, The Quran is the final message from God to all humanity. It is relevant to people of all times and all places. It speaks to you directly, establishing a link between the reader and the Creator of the heavens and earth. It is the only preserved word of the one true God. The Quran teaches mankind how to worship the One True God, hence fulfilling their true purpose in life, to attain success in both this world and the next.

The Quran contains many narratives, including the true and actual accounts of previous Prophets such as: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus. Of these stories, Allah says,

“Indeed, in their stories, there is a lesson for men of understanding.”

Al-Quran 12:111

If read with an open mind and true honesty, the reader is sure to take benefit from the many lessons, encouragements and warnings set out for humankind in their daily livelihood.
